In 2010, CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society was aided by a dangerous “Mystery Man.” It seemed that whenever called upon, this unknown asset of destruction would attack the faction’s opponents relentlessly. As The S.E.S. grew in power, the “Mystery Man’s” formidable presence became a more and more visible among its ranks.

In July, the “Mystery Man” was ordered by Punk to face Big Show. In the midst of the match, The World’s Largest Athlete ripped off his adversary’s mask, finally revealing his identity as former Tag Team Champion, Joey Mercury.
