After being trained by his legendary father, Owen Hart made his debut in 1986 in the Stampede wrestling organization out of Calgary, Alberta. Nearly right after his rookie year, Vince McMahon bought out most of the Stampede stars, meaning that they would soon see the bright lights of the WWF. Owen was one of these stars.

In 1988, Owen finally came into the WWF. So everyone wouldn't know that he was Bret Hart's brother, a WWF official suggested the idea of putting him underneath a mask. This is where The Blue Blazer was born! As The Blazer, Owen was the lightest wrestler that the WWF had during a time where heavyweights such as Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Dino Bravo, and The Ultimate Warrior dominated the federation. Owen's greatest match during this stint took place at WrestleMania V, as he lost to Curt Hennig.

Owen then began to appear as The Blue Blazer. The Blazer was basically a comical character, that was meant to make us laugh. He stood for the good of mankind, and tried to change the direction of the WWF. He finished his interviews by saying, "Say your prayers, take your vitamins, and drink your milk! Whooooo!!" At the Over The Edge ppv, Owen was scheduled to face The Godfather in a IC title match. As the Blazer, Owen was suppose to descend from the top of the arena, as he had done numerous times before. Unfortunatley, something dreadfully went wrong, as he fell over 50 feet to the ring. The 34-year old Owen Hart was pronounced dead less than an hour later as the wrestling world stood in shock. He will be sorely missed by us all.
